We have a combination of three hotels all located very near. All Hotel room types are listed in the Prices and Application Form.

They have 24 hour reception, free WiFi access, bar and café/snack bar, daily maid service. direct dial phone, hair dryers, non smoking rooms, air conditioning and central heating the main hotel has a few more extras. Our three charming hotels are in a superb location just a short walk from the Acropolis and the famous Plaka area with quaint houses and pedestrian only streets with restaurants, cafes and tavernas, art galleries, museums and parks. The Music Hub where we shall have the playing and coaching is just three minutes walk. We have this daily from 9 am to 3 pm and for the Masterclasses and  Question Time on 16th. So many historic sites and famous places within 20 minutes walk. The main Metro is just 200 metres away. 

The two hotels are just 40 metres apart have been owned and run by the same family for many years who have developed a. The other hotel is very close, a very elegant and charming hotel with two disabled facilities and parking. The large four star Boutique Hotel is our base, it is known for the wonderful understated elegance including paintings and interesting sculptures. The various lounges have arm chairs and sofas with books, magazines and games and in March welcoming wood fires, a very friendly atmosphere.

There are gardens on the roof where you can sit and relax also table tennis and a Jacuzzi, all making the hotel welcoming for guests to spend time there.. The roof top restaurant opens only in May. Two very good restaurants – the Atrium being a spectacular place.with wonderful food and wines or beer. The main restaurant is for breakfast,lunch or dinner. There are a variety of rooms as listed with photos below. This and the second hotel are not disabled friendly but there are hand rails on all the stairs. 

The other four star Boutique Hotel is smaller but also very beautiful and friendly. There are the standard rooms  - single or double, two with disabled facilities with wheel chairs  All rooms have balconies, the standard single has Juliette balconies and the one with the Acropolis views has a larger one – great for breakfast!  There are sitting areas with newspapers but the star attraction is the roof top restaurant – glassed in for winter with superb views and a wonderful menu and wine list.

The three star hotel is charming and most attractive with delightful areas for sitting or using laptops. We have just a few single rooms here . Breakfast is like the other hotels very substantial and interesting.  Again so well located.

The third hotel in the same location is also 4* with most attractive sitting areas and delightful roof restaurant and more. There are single rooms  and two double with disabled facilities including wheel chairs if requested. also two Double rooms with a balcony and view to the Acropolis. All have facilities as the above 4* hotel  This is not listed on the Prices page as there are only a few rooms. If you are interested please email cmhf(at)otenet.gr for availability and details. You are advised to make a reservation as soon as possible as the hotel asks for deposits in December. 


We plan meals in the two four star hotels - the Atrium is an amazing place and the food and wine is excellent. The Third hotel has  a Roof Garden Terrace restaurant which is enclosed with a superb view of the Acropolis, we plan to have dinner there at least one evening. Breakfast in all hotels is really special, a buffet with many Greek home cooked cakes, breads and pastries, eggs, meats cereals, fruit juices excellent teas and coffees. A great way to start the day! The restaurant in the other four star hotel is spectacular .on the Roof top but glassed in for the winter with fantastic views of the Acropolis and much more, very high level in more ways than one! 

The area around the hotels has a great variety of restaurants and tavernas especially in the Plaka. Meals will be a highlight of every day – the interesting food and drinks and especially the sociable atmosphere of our group.  You will be asked about your food preferences on the confirmation email. 


There is so much of interest within 5 to 15 minutes walk, the Plaka, the Acropolis the Acropolis Museum, Hadrians Arch, and various museums   and we have bus tickets to cover the main areas in this wonderful city. You will receive maps and information when you arrive. 

We plan three special walking tours with our own personal guide.
1) The Acropolis with so much to see there and then the Herod Atticus Theatre and other ancient sites. 
2) The area of the Plaka and wonderful places around the hotel.
3) Monasteraki and the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square with the Parliament and much more including the Benaki Museum where we shall have two concerts. 

You will receive two tickets for 24 hours on Hop on Hop off buses which cover a large part of Athens, you can drive around to get your bearings then get off at museums or historical sites or even special restaurants and stay as short or long a time as you wish. There is a charming little Happy Train which covers our area and beyond and you may have a day ticket for this.
One afternoon we shall take a direct bus to the amazing Stavros Niarchos Cultural Centre with the National  Opera House, the National Library and seven areas of parkland, lakes and much more.  The Director of the Alternate Stage Concert Hall has offered to take us on a guided tour which will be most interesting.
